Position Title: Front Desk Associate
Series/Pay Band/Rate: NF-0303-02 $12.03-$12.24 p/Hr
Physical Location: Navy Gateway Inns and Suites
Naval Support Activity Panama City, FL
EMPLOYMENT CAT: Full Time Position: 35 - 40 hours p/wk, Benefits Apply
Position subject to workdays on weekends and holidays.
SCHEDULE: Irregular Tour of Duty
Such as 3:00 -11:30 and 8:00-4:30
Weekends and Holidays, as required.
AREA OF CONSIDERATION: Local Commuting Area

Description of Duties: This position involves making reservations, issuing confirmation numbers, determining appropriate accommodations for guests, checking guests in and out, collecting monies, and maintaining all pertinent records in the property management systems.
Qualification Requirements: Applicants must show evidence of 6 months of progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates the ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of this position.
- Experience as hotel Front Desk Associate helpful
- Cash and credit card handling experience helpful
- Automated office experience to include reports and records keeping helpful
- Computer Skills and Customer Service experience required
- Valid Florida driver’s license required.
- Effective Communication Skills required
- Position requires prolonged standing. Must be able to move up and down stairs.
